FORMER RESIDENT DIES AT YAKIMA
Robert Chaney, 75, who moved from Goldendale to Yakima
in 1909, passed away at Yakima on Tuesday. Services will be held Friday at
10 a.m. at Shaw and Sons Funeral Home in Yakima, and burial rites will be
held Friday at 3 p.m. at Spring Creek Cemetery.
Mr. Chaney was born at Prescott, Arizona, and came to
Goldendale in 1884, and was engaged in farming and stock raising.
His survivors include a son, Wendall of Yakima; a daughter,
Pearl Reid of Selah; two sisters, Mrs. Lydia Lister, Sunnyside, and Mrs.
Kathryn Clinker, Naches; and two grandchildren.

OBITUARIES
CHANEY -- Robert L. Chaney, 75, died Tuesday morning
in Wade's Nursing Home after a long illness.
Mr. Chaney was born at Prescott, Ariz. and came to the
Yakima Valley in 1901. He was a retired cattleman.
Survivors include one son, Wendell, of Yakima and a daughter,
Mrs. Pearl Reid of Selah; two sisters, Mrs. Lydia Lester, Sunnyside and Mrs.
Katheryn Clinker of Naches; and two grandchildren.
Mrs. Chaney was a member of the Advent Christian Church.
Shaw and Sons has charge of funeral arrangements.
