SHUM BABY DIES DURING SLEEP

     Rory LaClaire Shum, 11-week old son of Mr. and Mrs. Darwin H. Shum, 315 Jefferson St., Bingen, died in his sleep early Tuesday morning, Oct. 24.
     Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 28, at Gardner's Chapel, White Salmon. The Rev. Homer Coulson of Husum will officiate. Burial will be in the Odd Fellows Cemetery.
     Rory is survived by his parents, Darwin H. and Judith (nee Smith); brother Shane; grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Claire Smith of Husum and Mr. and Mrs. Edward R. Shum, Bingen; great grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Ivan Smith of Husum and Mr. and Mrs. Tom Cook of Sunnyside.
