SERVICES FOR RICHARD HALEY HELD DEC 3
Richard McKinley Haley, a resident of White Salmon for
the past 48 years, passed away at a Portland Nursing Home, November 29.
Mr. Haley was born March 22, 1902 in Dixon, Texas. He
was a retired electrical workman for the P.U.D.
Surviving Mr. Haley are 3 sisters, Lucille Holden, Portland,
Mildred Shuler, Dallas, Texas, Jean Moxley of Reno, Nevada, and his step-mother,
Velma Haley of Portland.
Richard Haley was a member of the Mt. Adams Elks #1868,
Fraternal Order of Eagles in Bingen, and the Evan Childs Post #87 of White
Salmon.
Funeral services for Richard Haley were held Tuesday,
December 3 at Gardners Chapel. Officiating were Rev. Donald Kaelin and the
Mt. Adams Elks. Interment was in the Goodwill Cemetery in White Salmon.
Serving as pallbearers were: Amos Pearce, Harry Gruen,
Pedro Robbins, Norman Guler, Tony Guler and Tony Smith.

RICHARD HALEY SERVICES HELD
Funeral services were held Wednesday at Gardner's Funeral
Home in White Salmon for Richard McKinley Haley, 66, who died November 29
in Portland. Rev. Donald Kaelin officiated and Mt. Adams Elks No. 1868 performed
fraternal rites. Juanita Gardner was organist and soloist. Burial was in
Goodwill Cemetery at White Salmon.
Casket bearers were Amos Pearce, Harry Gruen, Pedro Robbins,
Norman Guler, Tony Guler and Tony Smith.
Survivors include three sisters, Lucille Holden of Portland,
Ore., Mildred Schuler of Dallas, Tex., and Jean Moxley of Reno, Nev.; his
step-mother Velma Haley in Portland and a number of nieces and nephews.
Mr. Haley was born on March 22, 1902 in Dixon, Tenn..
He had worked for the Klickitat PUD and had lived in this area about 40 years.
