ROSE MARIE HOCTOR
Rose Marie Duffield Hoctor passed away Feb. 18, 1975
at the age of 44 years in Portland, Ore. She was born in Goldendale June
2, 1930, the daughter of Sherman and Marie Marshall Duffield.
She graduated from Goldendale High School and later worked
in the first Goldendale Hospital.
On Oct. 5, 1949 she and Emmett Hoctor were married at
the Holy Trinity Church with Father Martin Skeehan officiating.
To this union six children were born. Surviving are her
husband, Emmett; four sons, John, Dennis, Paul and Mark all of Goldendale;
two daughters, Nancy Hoctor Johnson of Pullman, and Sarah of Goldendale;
her mother, Mrs. Marie Duffield, Goldendale; and two brothers, Donald Duffield,
Hood River and Marshall Duffield, Klickitat.
Funeral services were held Feb. 22 at the Holy Trinity
Church. Officiating at the services were the Very Rev. Martin Skeehan of
Toppenish, Father Paul Stecher of Quincy, Father Mulcahy of White Swan and
Father John Marasciulo of Goldendale.
Pallbearers were Charles Hoctor Jr., Ray Willis, Bill
Dressel, Clyde Story, Ken Hoctor and Terry Willis. Interment was at the Holy
Trinity Cemetery.
