RUBY McCALL SHEPARD
Funeral services will be held for Ruby McCall Shepard
at 1 p.m. Friday, April 28 at Gardner's Chapel. The Rev. Homer Coulson will
officiate at the services.
She was born at Osage, Iowa on Feb. 29, 1924. She died
April 24 at Stockton, Calif. She is survived by her mother, Bertha Howard
of Stockton, Calif.; one sister, Dorothy Krause of Stockton and three brothers,
Bob Howard of White Salmon, Bill Howard of Vancouver and Jim Howard of
Stockton.
Ruby was a longtime resident of White Salmon. She moved
here at the age of ten and went through school in White Salmon.
She has lived in Stockton about twelve years.
She has been suffering from cancer for two years and
requested to be buried at White Salmon near her former husband, Everett McCall.
He was killed in a logging accident several years ago.
Casket bearers will be Norman Krall, Buck McCall, Virgil
McCall, John Hall, R. T. Anderson, and Archie DeLay.
