RICHARD PAUL BARTKOWSKI

     Richard Paul Bartkowski, 53, of Centerville, passed away May 22, 1998 due to a tractor accident.
     He was born Aug. 29, 1944 in Little Fork, Minn. to Edward and Clara Hayden Bartkowski. Richard was a farmer and lifetime Camas resident, where he was an all-state football player for Camas High School. Richard and his wife, Linda, moved to Centerville three years ago.
     Richard enjoyed working on cars, woodworking, he loved all aspects of farming, cows, and kids, and camping. He was a very devoted family man.
     Richard was preceded in death by his parents.
     Survivors include his wife, Linda, of Centerville; three sons, Kenneth D., Richard D., Reggie D. Bartkowski, of Centerville; one daughter, Lynette Paulson of Vancouver; four brothers, Jim of Estacada; Carl, Edward and Joseph all of Camas; one sister, Belva Ostenson of Camas; six grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
     Celebration of Life services were held, May 30 in Centerville and May 26 at Harvest Community Church in Camas. Inurnment will be in Centerville. Brown's Funeral Home is in care of arrangements.

     A self-employed farmer who liked cows, kids and camping, Richard Paul Bartkowski, died in a tractor accident Friday, May 22, 1998, in Centerville. He was 53.
     Mr. Bartkowski was born Aug. 29, 1944 in Little Fork, Minn. and had lived most of his life in Camas before moving to Centerville several years ago. He enjoyed working on cars, woodworking and all aspects of farming. He was an All-State Football player for Camas High School.
     Survivors include his wife, Linda, at home; three sons, Kenneth D., Richard D., Reggie D., all of Centerville; one daughter, Lynette D. Paulson of Vancouver; four brothers, Jim of Estacada, Ore.; and Carl, Edward and Joseph all of Camas; and six grandchildren.
     A celebration of life services will begin Tuesday at Harvest Community Church in Camas. Inurnment will be at a later date in Centerville. Brown's Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
