HUSBAND-WIFE DIED FOUR DAYS APART
ROZILLAH THOMAS
Rozillah Thomas was born February 27, 1882 at Mt. Airy, North Carolina, to H.L. and Josephine Stewart. At the age of two, she moved with her Aunt Martha and Uncle Harrison Boze to Troy, Ohio. In 1889, they came to Trout Lake, Wa., where she attended the school when Mr. Frisbee was the teacher. Her husband, Ephriam, preceded her in death August 16, 1970. Mrs. Thomas passed away August 20, 1970 at Dwyer Memorial Hospital, Milwaukie, Or. Services were held at Kennelworth Presbyterian Church, Portland, Or., Aug. 24, with interment at Trout Lake Cemetery, Trout Lake, Wa. Mr. and Mrs. Thomas are survived by two sons, Walter of Gates, Ore., and Charles, Ruskin, British Columbia; three daughters, Mrs. Ted (Jessie) Adams, Portland, Ore.; Mrs. Charles (Violet) Donaldson, Renton, Wa.; Mrs. Al (Mabel) Yankus, Mill City, Ore., seventeen grandchildren and twenty-one great grandchildren. Mr. Thomas is also survived by a brother, Charles, San Jose, Ca., and a sister, Violet Wooker, Robe, Australia. Mrs. Thomas is also survived by two sisters, Mrs. Dora Thornton, White Salmon, and Mrs. Beatrice Smith, New York.
