REX WILSON SR. SERVICES ON WEDNESDAY
Rex Arthur Wilson Sr. died at Skyline Hospital on September
28, 1967. He was born February 19, 1895 at Chadron, NE.
A carpenter by trade, he lived in Trout Lake 44 years
before moving to White Salmon.
He is survived by his wife Rose of White Salmon; 3 sons,
Rex A. Wilson Jr., Melvin A. Wilson of Trout Lake now stationed in Iceland
with the Armed Forces, and Lawrence E. Wilson of Seattle, WA., a brother,
Marcus Wilson of Vancouver, WA., a sister, Lyda Pyle of Sacramento, CA.,
and numerous grandchildren.
Services were held Wednesday afternoon, October 4 at
2:00 pm at Gardner's Chapel, with the Mt. Adams Elks Lodge in charge.
Graveside services were conducted by the American Legion.
He was a member of the BPOE 1868, Eagles Lodge 2210, and the American Legion
of White Salmon.
Active casket bearers were Tony Guler, Joe Parlermo,
Ed Knoll, Tony Smith, Hank Dickens, Don Ryan. Honorary casket bearers were
Charles Pearson, Sanford Peterson, Walt Wang, Bill Wotton and Joe Wood.
