OLSON

     Mr. Ralph W. Olson, 88, of Goldendale, died Friday, Feb. 2 in Goldendale. He was born Dec. 29, 1901, in Oslo, Norway to Inga and Otto Olson and was the oldest of three children.
     Ralph Olson came to the U.S. with his parents in 1906, settling in Rapid City, S.D. He came to Washington in 1941 and was married to Helen Salisbury in Keystone, S.D., in 1942.
     He worked as a plumber in Rapid City and throughout the Pacific Northwest. He retired in Goldendale in 1968. Olson was a member of the Plumbers' Local No. 598 in Pasco.
     Survivors include his wife, Helen, of Goldendale, and one son, Don, of Kent.
     Graveside services were held Feb. 6, at 1 p.m. at Holy Trinity Cemetery with Father Thomas V. Lane officiating. Interment followed under the direction of Knosher-Erdman Funeral Home.
