OBITUARY
Robert W. Walker
R.W. Walker, aged 83, of Goldendale and Blockhouse, a
retired minister of the Cumberland Presbyterian church and farmer, passed
away at his home in the Spring Creek section, last week.
He was born in North Carolina in 1843, and came to Missouri
in 1861. In 1886, he came to the coast, and located near Pendleton.
In 1897 he came to Klickitat, which was his future home.
He was a charter member of the Oregon state grange, and
took an active part in work of Grange organizations in Klickitat county.
He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Pauline Walker, and
the following children:
Mrs. D.O. Gordon, Los Angeles; Mrs. H.O Barnes, Goldendale;
Mrs. Geo. F. Wille, Portland; Mrs. A.H. Gossard, Bend, Mrs. H.L. Bruneau,
Vancouver; and the following sons, of this city: B.C. Walker, Henry C. Walker,
Roy Walker, and Ralph Walker.
