MRS. SARAH A. BYRKETT PASSES AWAY
Sarah A. Byrkett was born August 5th, 1884 near Pleasant
Hill, Ohio, Miami County. She was married to Harvey J. Byrkett, Oct. 31,
1858 and to this union four children were born, two of which are living,
R.A. Byrkett of White Salmon, and Mrs. Wm. Coate of Trout Lake, Wash.
Mrs. Byrkett came to Trout Lake Valley in 1886 with her
husband, living there 20 years and then moving to Hood River and at the death
of her husband July 17, 1905, moved back to Trout Lake, living with her daughter,
Mrs. Wm. Coate, most of the time until her death, October 17, 1920. Interment
was in Trout Lake Cemetery, Oct. 18, 1920.

Sarah A. Byrkett, of Trout Lake, who died October 18, 1920, was born August 5, 1834, in Miami county, Ohio. She was married to Harvey J. Byrkett October 21, 1858, and to this union four children were born, two of whom are living, R.A. Byrkett of White Salmon, and Mrs. Wm. Coate of Trout Lake. Mrs. Byrkett came to Trout Lake valley in 1886, with her husband, living there for twenty years, and then moving to Hood River; and at the death of her husband, in July, 1905, moved back to Trout Lake, living with her daughter, Mrs. Wm. Coate, most of the time until her death. Interment was in Trout Lake cemetery.
