KILLED BY TRAIN
Sampson Queampts, well-known Indian of this district
was struck down by a train at Toppenish Sunday.
Sampson Queampts passed away August 18th at Toppenish,
Washington. Graveside services were held Wednesday, August 21st, at Three
Firs Cemetery, Husum, Washington. Surviving him is a son, John Frank Queampts
of Toppenish, Washington, and a sister, Irene Hernandez of Warm Springs Indian
Reservation, Oregon.
