The Goldendale Sentinel, Goldendale, WA., March 31, 1932, page 5
"Glenwood"

Word was received Saturday morning from Portland of the death of Mrs. Sophia Troh Baker, on March 26th, at a Portland hospital. Her sister, Mrs. Henry Hansen, and brother, Peter Troh, had gone down on Friday, and Mrs. Peter Troh, Henry Hansen and son left Monday morning to attend the funeral, which was held at 2 o'clock Monday afternoon. Mrs. Baker has been very ill for the past year, her illness starting from a severe case of mumps. Mrs. Baker has many friends here as she spent her early childhood in this valley, being one of the early pioneer children. She leaves one daughter, Mrs. Myrtle Walker, to mourn her loss, her husband having passed away in January of this year. She leaves two sisters, Mrs. Homer Ross, McMinnville, Oregon, and Mrs. Henry Hansen, Glenwood, and one brother, Peter Troh, Glenwood, besides a host of other relatives and friends. Sincere sympathy is extended to the bereaved family.
