MRS. SYLVIA ZIMMERMAN
Funeral services were held from the Methodist church
here November 25th for Mrs. Sylvia Zimmerman, who died Sunday night, Nov.
23 in her home on the North Star Ranch in the Mt. Brook district where she
has lived for many years.
Rev. Dean Poindexter, of the Hood River Methodist church
officiated while Anderson's Funeral home had charge of the funeral.
Mrs. Zimmerman was born in Iowa February 15, 1862 and
when 9 years old, accompanied her parents in a covered wagon to Kansas. She
came to Washington when it was a territory and has lived in the community
for more than 40 years. Besides her widower, Michael Zimmerman, she is survived
by three daughters, Mrs. Zula Lockhart, of Medical Springs, Ore., Mrs. Effie
Conklin of Tillamook, Ore., and Mrs. Goldie Nichols of Tacoma, Wash., and
three sons, Arthur, Verne, and Orland, all of White Salmon. Interment was
in the Odd Fellows cemetery.

PIONEER WOMAN PASSES AWAY
Funeral services were held from the Methodist church
at White Salmon November 25th, for Mrs. Sylvia Zimmerman, who died Sunday,
