SHERYL D. WILLIS

     Sheryl D. Willis was born August 15, 1915 at Egypt, Wash., to John H. and Marie Willis, and passed away June 15, 1974 at Goldendale. He attended and graduated from public schools at Tekoe.
     In 1937 he moved with his parents to Goldendale, and was married to Ellen Hoctor June 26, 1940. Willis work for many years for the former of Gillenwaters Hardware as an electrician. He also farmed east of Goldendale.
     He is survived by his wife Ellen, one daughter, Marilyn McKune of Hot Springs, Ark.; four sons, Ray, Terry and Tom of Goldendale; and Daryl of Bellevue; his mother, Mrs. Marie Willis, a sister Helen Hill and one brother George all of Goldendale. He is also survived by five grandchildren and an uncle, Jim Willis of Tacoma.
     Funeral services were held Tuesday at Holy Trinity Catholic Church with Fr. John Marasciulo officiating. Honorary pallbearers were Frank Willis, John, Paul and Kenneth Hoctor. Active pallbearers were Bill Dressel, Charles and Dennis Hoctor, Jim and Ken Hill and Gary Willis. Interment was in Holy Trinity Cemetery.
