MISS CLARY IS DEAD

     Dr. Collins reports that Miss Susie Clary, the 17 year old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. A. Clary of Firwood, fell out of an ice house about 7 p.m., Tuesday evening, dislocating her neck and fracturing the skull. She lived about three hours.

OBITUARY

     One who was highly esteemed and much loved has been called from our midst (a rose in the bloom of life) and left a sad and lonely home and a sorrowing community, when Susan E. Clary, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. A. Clary of Firwood, fell from the ice house door on the evening of July 19, 1910, receiving internal injuries from which she lived only a few hours.
     She was born in Klickitat County, Washington, September 3, 1893, and was the only daughter of the family. Susie was a bright winsome girl and her stay among us will not soon be forgotten. She leaves a father, mother and two brothers, and a host of relatives and friends to mourn her absence.
     The funeral services were held at the house Thursday at 2:30 o'clock, after which she was laid to rest in the Spring Creek cemetery. The bereaved family have the sympathy of the entire community.
