OBITUARY

     Sarah Eleanor Doty was born in England December 22nd, 1861 and when three years of age she came with her parents to the United States, settling in Illinois in which state she lived until the spring of 1887. She was married to Horace A. Doty on September 1st, 1881 and in 1887 she moved with her family to Nebraska and resided there until the spring of 1901 when she moved to Oregon, living there until the summer of 1907 when she came with her family to Klickitat County where she has since resided until her death which occurred on November 26th, 1920.
     She leaves to mourn her departure her husband, H.A. Doty, of Goldendale, one son, Jesse M. of Goldendale, one daughter, Mrs. Bertha Hartshorn of Toppenish, Wash., and three grandchildren.
     Funeral services were held from Chapman's Chapel on Sunday, November 28th by R.W. Walker of Spring Creek. Interment taking place in the Spring Creek Cemetery.
