LOIS CHRISTINE SELLSTED
Lois Christine Sellsted, 92, of Carson died Feb. 26, 2006. She was born in
Thomas, Okla. Sept. 1, 1913, to Edna (Swanson) and Charles Brrong.
She lived in Oklahoma until the age of three, at which
time she moved to Weiser, Idaho. Her family settled in Underwood, Wash. and she
grew up there, graduating from Columbia High School in 1932.
She married Herbert Sellsted in Stevenson in 1948. Mrs.
Sellsted worked as a seasonal s fruit packer, retiring 35 years ago.
She loved taking drives in the woods and trips to the
beach. She enjoyed reading. She was a former member of the Eagles Lodge and the
Willard Women's Club.
She is survived by her husband, Herbert; daughters
Donna Bryant of Portland, Ore. and Kathleen Sellsted of Carson; son Michael
Sellsted of Carson; brother Eugene Brrong of Troutdale, Ore.; five grandchildren
and four great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by siblings Charles Jr.,
Fred, Isaac, Earl and Lloyd, and Dorothy and Donald.
A funeral service was held March 2, 2006 at Gardner
Funeral Home in White Salmon with interment to follow at Chris Zada Cemetery in
Underwood.
