HAMLLIK
Mrs. Sadie I. Hamllik, 80, of Goldendale, died Tuesday,
April 9, 1991, in Goldendale. She was born on October 25, 1910 near Centerville
to Elmer and Hilda Erkkila.
She attended schools at Happy Valley and married Delbert
Hamllik September 2, 1929, in Goldendale.
Mrs. Hamllik worked at Klickitat Pine Box during World
War II and also worked for a time at a local music store.
She and Mr. Hamllik moved to Yakima in 1962. Mr. Hamllik
died January 2, 1988. Mrs. Hamllik continued to live in Yakima until returning
to Goldendale in March of 1990.
Mrs. Hamllik enjoyed gardening and was an avid shopper.
Survivors include: one daughter, Mrs. Ray (Nadine) McKinney
of Goldendale; three grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and one brother,
John Erkkila of Vancouver.
Funeral services were Saturday, April 13 in the Chapel
of Knosher-Erdman Funeral Home with Pastor Vince Hart of the United Methodist
Church officiating.
Interment was in the Centerville Cemetery. Pallbearers
included Gary Willis, Frank Willis, Alford Hamllik, Floyd Weiss, Richard
Lawson and Mike Erland.
