STAN BEBBINGTON IS HEART VICTIM

     Funeral services for Stanley J. Bebbington, 47, White Salmon, were held at 1:30 p.m. Monday, Nov. 27 at Gardner's Chapel. The Rev. Alfred S. Palmer officiated.
     Officers of Mt. Adams Elks Lodge, in which "Stan" was Assistant Esquire, assisted. Soloist was Robert Van Alstine.
     Burial was in the White Salmon Odd Fellows Cemetery. Casket bearers were fellow PUD employees: Allan Beeks, Louis C. Benson, Mark Beest, Kenneth Clements, Stanley Larsen and Russell Sherman.
     Stanley Bebbington was born Oct. 11, 1914 in Strathmore, Alberta, Canada, the son of Anne and Charles Bebbington. On June 26, 1936 he was married to Caroline Gretchfield at Colville, where he lived for 1942 to 1947 and was employed by the Rural Electrification Administration.
     From 1936 to 1942 Stan was a gold miner at Sheep Creek, B C. He was a Past Nobel Grand of the Colville Odd Fellows Lodge and also a 4-H leader.
     In 1948 the Bebbington family moved to Goldendale and in 1949 to White Salmon where Stan was employed as a lineman by the Klickitat County Public Utility District.
     On Tuesday, Nov. 21 he experienced chest pains and was admitted to Skyline hospital. Although his condition did not seem critical, he suffered a fatal heart attack Wednesday afternoon, Nov. 22.
     He is survived by his widow Caroline; three daughters, Donna Smith, Sandra and Charlotte Bebbington, and one grandchild, Jimmy, all of White Salmon; also, two sisters, Mrs. Hugh Horsville and Mrs. John Lusk; and his father, Charles Bebbington, all of Nelson, B.C.

STAN BEBBINGTON DIES WEDNESDAY

     Stanley Bebbington, and employee up the PUD here, passed away at the family home late Wednesday afternoon at about 4:00 p.m.. He was 47 years of age.
     He is survived by his wife and three daughters, Donna, Sandra and Charlotte, the latter two of Portland, Oregon.

BEBBINGTON RITES MONDAY AT GARDNER'S

     Stanley J. Bebbington was born October 11th, 1914 in Strathmore, Alberta, Canada, the son of Anne and Charles Bebbington. For a period of seven years he was engaged in gold mining in British Columbia in the Sheep Creek area.
     In 1942 he came to live at Colville, Washington for five years and while there he was employed by the Rural Electrical Administration. In 1948 the family moved to Goldendale and the following year to White Salmon were he was with the Klickitat County Public Utility Administration.
     He passed away at Skyline Hospital November 22 at the age of 47 years.
     Surviving are his wife, Caroline Bebbington of White Salmon, and three daughters: Donna Smith of White Salmon, Sandra and Charlotte Bebbington of White Salmon.
     His father, Charles Bebbington of Nelson, British Columbia; two sisters: Mrs. Hugh Horswill of Nelson, B.C. and Mrs. John Lusk of Nelson, B.C.. Also one grandchild, Jimmy Smith.
     He was a member of the Mt. Adams Elks Lodge, 1868 and a past Noble Grand of the Oddfellows Lodge of Colville, Washington.
     Funeral services were held Monday, 1:30 p.m. at the Gardner's Funeral Home with Rev. Alfred Palmer officiating. The Mt. Adams Elks Lodge conducted their funeral services also. Interment was in the White Salmon IOOF Cemetery.
     Casket bearers were selected from the P.U.D.
     Allen Bates, Louis Benson, Mark Besst, Kenneth Clemments, Stanley Larsen, Russell Sherman.
