MARLOW
Sylvia L. Marlow, 83, of Klickitat died May 20, 1990,
at Mt. Adams Care Center.
She was born February 9, 1907 in Superior, Wis. to Mattie
William and Lydia (Wamari) Lempopen.
On August 6, 1925 she married Victor Joseph Marlow in
Duluth, Wis. They moved to Klickitat in 1927.
Mrs. Marlow was the Grand Marshall for Klickitat Canyon
Days last year, a member of Klickitat Valley Baptist Church, No. 2805 Ladies
Auxiliary, active in Senior Citizens, loved to dance and loved plants, flowers
and birds.
Survivors include: three daughters, Evelyn J. Demeter,
Goldendale, Doris C. Dannelley, Denver, Colo. and Lucille M. Marlow, Klickitat;
three sons, Charles G. Marlow, White Salmon, Robert Marlow, Timber Valley
and David A. Marlow, Goldendale; one brother, William Lemponen, Castle Rock;
two sisters Violet Smith, Colorado Springs, Colo., and Signa Lemponen, Minn.;
22 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death
by her husband in 1978, and by one son and one daughter.
Funeral services will be Thursday, May 24, at 2 p.m.
at Gardner Funeral Home in White Salmon with Pastor Ralph Nettles officiating
with burial in the White Salmon Cemetery. Contributions may be given to Klickitat
Valley Baptist Church, Klickitat.
