SHIRLEY MELDRUM

     Shirley M. Meldrum, a Dallesport resident since 1979, died Friday in Hood River at the age of 71.
     Mrs. Meldrum was born April 15, 1914, in Ware-Shoals, SC., to Mr. and Mrs. John E. Shirley. She grew up in South Carolina and moved to the west coast in the late '30s. She was a homemaker.
     She is survived by her husband, George, Dallesport; a daughter, Cindy Kryzak, Lyle; grandsons, Jason and Andrew Kryzak, Lyle; and a brother, Ted Shirley, Ware-Shoals, SC.
     Services for Mrs. Meldrum were Tuesday at 1 p.m. at Gardner Funeral Home in White Salmon, the Rev. Les Haarstad officiating. Interment was in the Appleton Cemetery.
     Contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.

MELDRUM

     Shirley M. Meldrum of Dallesport passed away on May 31, in Hood River. She was 71.
     She was born on April 15, 1914, in the Ware-Shoals, South Carolina, to Mr. and Mrs. John Shirley. She grew up in South Carolina and moved to the West Coast in the late '30s. She settled in Dallesport in 1979.
     Meldrum, a homemaker, is survived by her husband George, of Dallesport; her daughter, Cindy Kyrzak, of Lyle; two grandsons, Jason and Andrew Kyrzak, of Lyle; and a brother, Ted Shirley, of Ware-Shoals, S.C.
     Services were held on Tuesday, June 4, at 1 p.m. at Gardner Funeral Home in White Salmon, with the Rev. Les Haarstad officiating. The burial was in Appleton Cemetery, Appleton. Contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
