SHIRLEY LARSEN
Shirley Marian Larsen, a resident of Bingen for the last
50 years, died Monday at Skyline Hospital in White Salmon at the age of 72.
Mrs. Larsen was born April 10, 1910, in Hood River, to
Mr. and Mrs. Hugh W. Watson. She worked at the Bingen Drug and helped her
husband build L/L Lockers in Bingen. She was a member of the Order of Eastern
Star No. 107, Mountain View Grange, Bingen Circle and a pinochle Club.
She is survived by her husband, Amos, Bingen; children
Nedra Gleason and Stan Larsen both of Bingen, Gail Jones, Bend Ore., and
Bernadine Crawford, Olympia; brothers Ken Watson and Colin Watson, both of
Seattle; one sister Wilma Thompson, Salt Lake City, Utah; 13 and grand-children
and 10 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services for Mrs. Larsen will be held today
(Thursday) at 11 a.m. at Gardner Funeral Home, with Rev. Jean Marie Wood
officiating. Interment will be in Chris-Zada Cemetery, Underwood.
