FUNERAL TO BE MONDAY FOR 98 YEAR OLD

     Mr. Solomon Perry, of Underwood, who would have been 99 years of age on January 25, died at Hy-Lond Convalescent Center in Goldendale on Tuesday, Dec. 21.
     He was born in Yamhill Co., Oregon in 1873 and was preceded in death by his wife Annie, who died in 1938.
     Mr. Solomon has no close relatives to survive him other then some nieces and nephews. His brother, David Perry, died in August of 1970.
     Funeral services will be held Monday afternoon Dec. 27 at Gardner's Chapel in White Salmon at one o'clock. Rev. Eugene Haynes will perform the final rites.
     Burial will be at Christ-Zada Cemetery in Underwood.
