BOY FAILS TO SURVIVE SURGERY FOR HEART DEFECT
Steven Leroy Parsons was born Feb. 28, 1965 to Ralph
and Hazel Parsons of White Salmon and passed away at Seattle, Wash., June
26, 1969, after surgery to correct a heart ailment.
He leaves to mourn, his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Parsons,
a brother, Glen of Clatskanie, Ore., and three brothers at home, Bill, Ralph,
and Timothy. Three sisters at home, Bonnie, Donna, and Vera.
He leaves one grandparent, Mr. V.C. Bertschi of White
Salmon, three aunts, Mrs. W.N. Jacobson of Newberg, Ore., Mrs. Carl Wall
of Sandy, Ore., and Mrs. Frank E. Ward of The Dalles, Ore.
Funeral services were held Monday, June 30 at Gardner's
Funeral Home in White Salmon with Pastor E.W. Starr of the Seventh-day Adventist
Church officiating. Interment was at the Mount Adams Cemetery in Glenwood.
