STELLA SARAH PIMLEY
Stella Sarah Pimley, who passed away at the Hood River
Memorial Hospital on May 29, was born May 21, 1909 in California.
A resident of Lyle for 25 years, Mrs. Pimley was a member
of the Full Gospel Assembly Church of Lyle. She was a retired nurses aid
and had worked at Skyline Hospital for 10 years.
She is survived by: her husband, Robert Pimley, whom
she had married in Sacremento, Ca. on Oct. 28, 1927; three sons, Steve and
James Pimley of Lyle and Richard Pimley of Klamath Falls, Or.; two daughters,
Linda Dohrman and Janice Sauter, both of Lyle; one sister, Lilly Shigley
of Lyle; two brothers Lawrence Quinton of Boise, Ida. and Ernest Quinton
of California; fourteen grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Thursday (today), June
3, at 2 p.m. at Gardner's Funeral Home in White Salmon. Pastor James Hill
of the Full Gospel Assembly of Lyle will officiate. Interment will be at
the family plot in the Lyle Cemetery.
