TERRY L. ACKLEY

     A Dallesport resident, Terry L. Ackley, died Thursday, April 10, at the Oregon Health Sciences University in Portland, Ore., at the age of 31.
     He was born in March 5, 1955, in White Salmon to Gilbert and Violet (Binford) Ackley. He grew up in California, and later lived in Eugene, Ore. On Sept. 2, 1984, Mr. Ackley married Brenda Lorash in Dallesport, where he had lived for only 1½ years. He was employed as a handyman.
     Mr. Ackley is survived by his wife Brenda; daughters Kerra and Carra; parents Delbert and Violet, Dallesport; brothers Allen of Brownsville, Ore., Claude of Eugene, and Gilbert R. of Dallesport; and sisters Delcine Snyder of McKinleyville, Calif., and Jacqueline Stockton of Eugene.
     Funeral services were held Monday, April 14, at Gardner Funeral Home in White Salmon, with Elder David Holcomb officiating. Interment followed in the White Salmon Cemetery.
     Arrangements were made by Gardner Funeral Home.
     Memorial contributions may be made to the Oregon Health Sciences University in Portland for research.
