THOMAS D. HORE SERVICES TO BE ON JULY 28TH
Thomas D. Hore, victim of a car crash which took his
life on July 24, was born in Hood River on August 25, 1946.
He went through school in White Salmon, graduating from
Columbia High school in 1966. At the time of his death he was on leave from
the Marine Corps in the 5th Marine Division Company C of the 5th Amphibious
Tractor Battalion, stationed at Camp Pendleton, Calif., where he served as
an Antrack crewman.
Surviving relatives are: his parents, Jim and Iris Hore;
2 brothers, Charles of Maupin, Ore., and Lt. Gerald Hore stationed with the
U.S. Army in Amsbach, Germany; his grandmother, Mrs. Charles Grient of Gresham,
Ore.; aunts and uncles, Mrs. Betty Crang of Tillamook, Ore., Mr and Mrs.
Owen Joy of Grants Pass, Ore., Mrs. Hazel Hipson of Caldwell, Idaho, and
Mrs. Marian MeCullogh, also of Caldwell.
