THOMAS HOODENPYL

     Thomas Edward Hoodenpyl, a lifelong area resident, died July 4 at the age of 26 after a motorcycle accident in Trout Lake.
     Mr. Hoodenpyl was born Sept. 23, 1957 in White Salmon to Steve and Kay (Johnson) Hoodenpyl. He graduated from Glenwood High School and attended Eastern Washington University. He was a logger for C&H Logging and a member of the Mt. Adams Elks Lodge.
     He is survived by parents, Steven and Kay Hoodenpyl, Glenwood; a daughter, Tara, Lebanon, Ore.; his grandparents, Emma Johnson, Hood River, and Frank and Laura Costanzo, Hawaii; brothers, Gerald, the University of Oregon and Glenwood, and David, Glenwood; a sister, Cynthia, Central Washington University and Glenwood; one nephew and one niece.
     Services were Saturday at 1 p.m. at Gardner Funeral Home in White Salmon, with the Rev. Ken Wutzke officiating. Interment was in Mt. Adams Cemetery, Glenwood.
     Contributions may be made to the Johnson Memorial Scholarship Fund, Glenwood High School.

     Thomas Edward Hoodenpyl of Trout Lake, born Sept. 23, 1957 in White Salmon to Steve and Kay Hoodenpyl, died July 4 in Portland.
     A lifelong area resident of the area, he graduated from Glenwood High School and attended Eastern WAshington University. He was employeed as a logger for C&H Logging, and a member of the Mt. Adams Elks Lodge #1868.
     Mr. Hoodenpyl is survived by his parents, in Glenwood; by a daughter, Tara, Lebanon, Oregon; by two brothers, Gerald of the University of Oregon and Glenwood, and David, Glenwood; by a sister, Cynthia, of Central Washington University and Glenwood; by his grandparents, Emma Johnson, Hood River, and Frank and Laura Costanzo, Hawaii; and by a nephew, Timothy, and a niece, Elizabeth.
     Funeral services were held July 7 at the Gardner Funeral Home, White Salmon, the Rev. Ken Wutzke officiating. Interment followed at Mt. Adams Cemetery in Glenwood.
     The family suggests memorial contributions may be made to Johnson Memorial Scholarship Fund at Glenwood High School.
