THELMA BOOHER

     Thelma Isoline Booher, a long-time resident of Glenwood, died April 27 in Goldendale at the age of 76.
     Mrs. Booher was born April 23, 1906, in Moscow, Idaho, to Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Cox. She moved to Glenwood in 1926. A homemaker, Mrs. Booher was also a silver star member of Glenwood Grange 94.
     She is survived by her husband, Albert; her children, Isoline Sprague, Glenwood, Ruth Warner, Vancouver, Floyd Booher, LaCenter, Marie Vaughn, Monterey, Calif., and Jackie Templeton, Corvallis, Ore.; three sisters, Vera Taylor, Bend, Ore., Amy Lyman, Seattle, and Dorothy Liebel, Seattle; 14 grandchildren; and numerous great grandchildren.                Services for Mrs. Booher were held Friday at 2 p.m. at Pioneer Church in Glenwood with Rev. Ken Wutzke officiating. Interment was at the Mt. Adams Cemetery in Glenwood.

BOOHER

     Thelma Isoline Booher, 76, died April 27 at Klickitat Valley Hospital in Goldendale. She was born April 23, 1906 to Ernest and Inez Gilbreth Cox at Moscow, Idaho. She was one of twin daughters in a family of eleven children. She and her sister Zelma celebrated their 70th birthday together shortly before Zelma's death.
     Mrs. Booher was baptised in the Christian faith when she was young. She spent her girlhood in Idaho. She moved with her parents to Washington in 1923. In 1923 she met Albert Booher. They were married April 17, 1924 at Donald, Wash., near Wapaot. One of the Booher's most happy occasions was the celebration of the golden wedding in 1974.
     The Boohers have lived almost continiously in Glenwood since 1926 where they reared their family of five children.
     Survivors include her husband Albert; one son, Floyd of LaCenter and four daughters, Isoline Sprague of Glenwood, Ruth Warner of Vancouver, Marie Vaughn, Monterey, Calif. and Jackie Templeton, Corvallis, Ore.; three sisters, Vera Taylor of Bend, Ore., Amy Lyman and Dorothy Liebel, both of Seattle; many nieces and nephews; 17 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren.
     Suneral services were conducted Friday, April 30 at 2 p.m. at the Presbyterian Church at Glenwood by Gardners Funeral Home. Interment was at the Mt. Adams Cemetery in Glenwood. Pallbearers were he grandsons, Gary Booher, Randy Sprague, Larry Sprague, Gary Sprague, Jerry Scott and Norman Hays. Honorary pallbearers were John Liebel, Charlie Gangle, Frank Gangle, Earl Barnes and ben Turner. In lieu of flowers, the family requested a memorial to the Glenwood E.M.T. team.
