TERRY LEE HELGESON
Terry Lee Helgeson of Estacada died Monday, Dec. 13 in
Portland; he was 29.
Mr. Helgeson was born on April 27, 1964 in Portland to
Joyce M. (Holt) and Oliver O. Helgeson.
He grew up in the Trout Lake area and lived there until
1982 when he moved to Alaska to work in a logging camp with his father. He
was a lover of the outdoors and loved to hunt and fish. Mr. Helgeson also
regularly attended the Church of God Seventh Day.
He is survived by his father and stepmother Oliver and
Helen Helgeson of Anchor Point, Ak.; his mother Joyce Marshall of Estacada;
his son Terry Lee Helgeson II of Langlois, Ore.; his sister Mona Helgeson
of Estacada; his grandparents Mr. and Mrs. Holt of Estacada, his uncle Don
and Clara Clark of Stevenson; and his stepbrother Larry Brannon of Salem.
Funeral services were held on Friday, Dec. 17, at the
Trout Lake Cemetery. Pastor Phillip Sandford officiated the service.
The Gardner Funeral Home was in charge of all the
arrangements.
