Ted LeRoy Struck
Ted LeRoy Struck, 70, of Bingen, died Sept. 19, 2002
in Lyle.
He was born on April 4, 1932, in Carlsburg, Wash., to
Ernest and Virginia (McGowan) Struck.
Ted grew up in Appleton and Lyle and was a farmer and
rancher in the High Prairie area for many years. He was an avid fisherman
and hunter. Ted was also a talented musician who played saxophone at
dances.
He is survived by his children, Debra Lidy, of Gilbert,
Ariz., Susan Barker of The Dalles, Steven Struck of Boise, Idaho, Larly Struck
and Gilbert Struck, of Crescent City, Calif.; twin sister, Ellen Morrell,
of Ridgefield, Wash.; brother, Gene Struck, of Walla Walla; sister, Dorothy
Jones, of Appleton; and several grandchildren and step-grandchildren.
Funeral services for Ted were held Sept. 23 at Gardner
Chapel in White Salmon with interment following at the Lyle Balch Cemetery.

on Thursday, September 19 in Lyle at the age of 70. He was born on April
4, 1932 in Clarlsburg, Washington to Virginia (McGowan) and Ernest Struck.
Ted grew up in Appleton and Lyle and was a farmer and rancher in the High
Prairie area for many years. He was an avid fisherman and "the best" hunter
who never came back empty-handed. Ted was also a talented musician who played
saxophone at dances.

Arizona. Susan Barker of The Dalles. Oregon, Steven Struck of Boise. Idaho,
Larry Struck, and Gilbert Struck of Crescent City, California; twin sister
Ellen Morrell of Ridgefield, Washington; brother Gene Struck of Walla Walla,
Washington; sister Dorothy Jones of Appleton, Washington; several grandchildren
and step children.
Funeral services for Ted Struck were held at 11:00 AM
on Monday, September 23 at Gardner Chapel in White Salmon, Washington with
interment following at the Lyle Baich Cemetery. Anyone wishing to make memorial
