THEO M. BENEDICT TAKEN BY DEATH

     Theodore M. Benedict, a resident of Roseburg for the past seven months, died yesterday at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Herbert Haas, 828 S. Main street. Mr. Benedict came to Dillard a year ago from Lyle, Wash. and for the past seven months made his home with his daughter in this city. He is survived by a son and three daughters; T.M. Benedict, Dillard; Mrs. Herbert Haas, Roseburg; Mrs. Fay McNabb, Lyle, Wash.; and Mrs. Paul McCuster, Portland.
     He was a member of the I.O.O.F. lodge at Morgan, Oregon.
     The body was removed to the Roseburg Undertaking Company parlors, and is being prepared for shipment to The Dalles for burial. Arrangements for funeral services in Roseburg have not yet been completed.
