TIMOTHY PETER WARD
Timothy Peter Ward died June 30 at the Fred Hutchinson
Cancer Research Center in Seattle, at the age of 13, after battling illness
for fifteen months.
Timothy was born Jan. 13, 1972 in Macon, Ga., and moved
to Kent, Wash. with his parents five years ago. He attended Kent Junior High
School, completing the seventh grade. He was active in his church and school
orchestras, in which he played the bass fiddle. He also loved baseball and
soccer.
He is survived by his parents, Darold and Janet Ward
of Kent; a brother in the US Army, Gary, station at Fort Lewis, Wash.; a
sister, Crystal, at the family home; his paternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs.
Frank Ward of Glenwood; his great-grandmother, Rosa Surface of White Salmon;
and maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Eugene Christiansen of Tacoma.
Funeral services were held July 3 at the First Presbyterian
Church of Kent under the direction of Marlatt Mortuary of Kent. Interment
was in the Glenwood Cemetery of Klickitat County.
