RAY

     Miss Tonja "Renee" Ray, 19, of Goldendale, passed away on Monday February 25 in an auto accident near Toppenish. She was born in the Goldendale on May 2, 1965.
     Ray attended Goldendale schools, and graduated from Goldendale High School in 1983. She was a certified CPR instructor and had done volunteer work at the Klickitat Valley Hospital and with the ambulance crew. She was very active in the American Legion Auxiliary 116. She was attending college in Yakima at the time of her death.
     Ray is survived by her parents Paul and Helen Ray of Goldendale; five sisters, Paula and Charity Harvey of Spokane, Linda Davisson of Omak, Michelle Winters of Wishram and Trina Ray of Goldendale; two brothers, Ty Ray of Wheatridge, Colorado, and Dan Winter of Goldendale.
     Memorial services were held on Friday, March 1 in the United Methodist Church in Goldendale, with the Rev. Rex Van Beek officiating.
