NOEL QUINN WAS BURIED SUNDAY
Last Surviving Member of Noted Irish Family Dies at Husum

A number of local people were at Underwood, Wash., Sunday to attend funeral services for Noel Quinn, 58, whose death occurred at Houston, Wash., Friday morning.  Rev. John Pickells, local Episcopal pastor officiated.  Mr. Quinn who died Friday, was the last surviving member of a noted Irish family, who came to America as soon after the world war, marrying the widow of the late Mordecai Jones, titled Irishman, who survives him.
Mordecai Jones came to America about 40 years ago and purchased a large tract of land in the Husum country, having been attracted by the availability of game.  He erected a large hunting lodge and each hunting season was accustomed to entertain notables from here and abroad.
Mr. Quinn, who gained his given name for having been born on Christmas day, is survived by three stepsons, Guy and Felix Jones of Husum and Ion Jones of England.
