ULYSSES FARMER HYLTON
Ulysses Farmer Hylton was born November 26th, 1873 in
Floyd County, Virginia to Reverend and Mrs. E.B. Hylton. He came to Washington
in the Spring of 1893. He was united in marriage to Lilliam M. Smith in 1898
who preceded him in death. To this union were born Leroy Hylton of Washougal,
Washington; Hazel Gray of Bingen, Washington; and Helen Miller of San Mateo,
California.
He leaves to mourn his passing besides his children,
4 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren, one sister, Mrs. Nettie West of White
Salmon and three brothers; Joseph M. Hylton of Colton, Oregon, John A. Hylton
of White Salmon and Burchard A. Hylton of Vancouver, Washington.
Funeral Service was held Tuesday October 26th at Gardner's
Funeral Home with Rev. George P. George officiating. Interment was in the
Balch Cemetery at Lyle, Washington.

U.F. HYLTON FUNERAL HELD
Services were held Tuesday, Oct. 26, at Gardners Funeral
Home for Ulysses Farmer Hylton, 81, who died early Thursday, Oct. 21, at
Skyline hospital after a prolonged illness. The Rev. George P. George officiated.
Burial was in the Balch cemetery, Lyle.
Mr. Hytlon was born November 26, 1873 in Floyd county,
Virginia to Rev. and Mrs. E.B. Hylton. He came to Washington in the spring
of 1893. He was married in 1898 to Miss Lilliam M. Smith, now deceased.
Surviving Mr. Hylton are one son, Leroy Hylton of Washougal;
two daughters, Mrs. Hazel Gray of Bingen and Mrs. Helen Miller of San Mateo,
Calif.; four grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. Also, one sister,
Mrs. Nettie West of White Salmon; and three brothers, Joseph of Colton, Ore.;
John A. of White Salmon and Burchard of Vancouver.
