UNA ELMER
Una VanDuyn Elmer, 81, of Nampa, died Wednesday, June
16, 1993, at the Caldwell hospital of natural causes. Funeral services will
be held at 2:30 p.m. Monday, June 21, 1993, at the Dakan Funeral Chapel,
Caldwell, with Don Hardenbrook, Associate Minister of the Oregon Trail Church
of God, Caldwell, officiating. Services will conclude at the chapel and cremation
will follow.
She was born Una Marine VanDuyn February 9, 1912, in
Boise, Idaho, to Ezra and Edith VanDuyn. The family then moved to Nampa,
where Una attended school and eventually graduated from Nampa High School.
Una spent most of her adult life in Washington and Oregon. She enjoyed traveling
and especially liked Ireland and South Africa. In 1989 she came back to Nampa
where she lived at Karcher Estates until moving to Caldwell
recently.
She is survived by four children, Thomas Raymond of Portland,
Oregon, Jack Raymond of Caldwell, Idaho, Dorothy Sinclair of Beaverton, Oregon,
and Judie Pesznecker of Buena Park, California; numerous grandchildren and
great grandchildren. She is survived by two sisters, Elsie Robinson and Ruth
Wells, both of Nampa, Idaho; and numerous nieces and nephews.
The family welcomes friends to a viewing at the Dakan
Funeral Chapel today from 2:00 to 6:00 p.m.
