VICTOR A. LEHTO
Services for Victor Alexander Lehto, 82, will be held
at 10:30 a.m. Dec. 9, at Centerville School. Officiating will be Ray Hilman,
Richard Sakrisson and Ron Olin, with burial following at Centerville.
He was born Oct. 29, 1896, in Centerville, Wa. and passed
away after an extended illness Dec. 3 at his home in Centerville. He was
a member of the Apostolic Lutheran Church of Centerville. He retired from
the Goldendale School District as a custodian in 1962. He was a World War
1 veteran.
Survivors include seven sons, Norman, Crescent City,
Calif., Milton, Dallas, Ore., Mervin, Portland, Layton, Camas, Robert, Raymond,
and Kenneth, Vancouver; eight daughters, Mildred Puranen, Woodland, Elma
Andruss, Vancouver, Laura Johnson, Eastside, Ore., Dorothy Kay, Estacada,
Ore., Niva Shelton, Goldendale, Sharon Drago, Centerville, and Gertrude Gustafson
and Sylvia Harlow, Battle Ground; three brothers, August, Vancouver, Frank,
Brush Prairie, and Carl, Battle Ground; three sisters, Martha Risto, Battle
Ground, Ida Baldwin, Portland and Jennie Wayne, Hockinson; 52 grandchildren
and 53 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his youngest son
of Wilbert and wife Hulda.
In lieu of flowers, family requests contributions be
given to the charity of choice or the Apostolic Lutheran Foreign Mission
Fund.
