PASSES AWAY AT GOLDENDALE
Vern C. Zimmerman

     Vern C. Zimmerman was born August 17, 1896 in the White Salmon area to Mike and Sylvia Zimmerman. He passed away at the Cascade Villa Convalescent Center in Goldendale, January 14th at the age of 76 years.
     Vern had spent most of his life in this area. In earlier years besides ranching he did a lot of horse logging.
     On May 1, 1915 Mr. Zimmerman and Lottie Currant were married at Stevenson, Washington. To this marriage only one child, Iva Osborne of White Salmon and two sisters, Mrs. C.L. Conklin of Prineville, Oregon and Mrs. B.N. Thompson of Klamath Falls, Oregon.
     Funeral Services were held Wednesday, January 17th, at 1:30 p.m. at Gardner's Funeral Home in White Salmon, Washington. Pastor Clyde Dillon officiated at the services.
