KLICKITAT WOMAN PASSES; SERVICES HELD WEDNESDAY
Funeral services were conducted by Harry McCardell from
the Phillips Funeral Home in Goldendale Wednesday afternoon for Mrs. Guy
L. Adams, of Klickitat, who passed away at the Goldendale Hospital Sunday,
January 23. Mrs. Adams had been in poor health for the past year and had
been a patient at the hospital since January 18.
During her nearly 21 years of residence in Klickitat
the deceased had taken an active interest in community activities.
On July 19, 1930, she was united in marriage to Guy L.
Adams and to this union one daughter, June, was born. Survivors include the
husband and daughter; her father George W. Dye; seven brothers and three
sisters.
Interment was made in the Spring Creek Cemetery.

MRS. GUY L. ADAMS
Veryl Ann Dye, daughter of George Ward Dye and Julia
Clarence Earnest was born September 1, 1915, at Corvallis, Montana. With
her parents she moved to Klickitat in June, 1928.
She was married to Guy L. Adams on July 19, 1930, in
Goldendale. To this union one daughter, June, was born.
Mrs. Adams was a member of the Church of Christ of Latter
Day Saints and was actively engaged in its auxiliaries, especially in working
in the primary and with the younger children, until illness forced her to
resign her positions.
For the past year she has been severely ill and hospitalized
at various times. On January 18, she was brought to the Goldendale hospital
where she passed away January 23.
She is survived by her husband, Guy L. Adams, and a daughter,
June, of Klickitat; her father George W. Dye, seven brothers and three sisters,
Clifford, Edward, Archie, and a sister, Eva Welch, of hamilton, Montana;
Elton and George, of Corvallis; Kenneth of Anaconda, Montana; Troy, of Winslow;
Edna King, of Spokane; and Julia Hamm, of Walla Walla. Her mother preceeded
her in death.
