VIOLET CHRISTMAN
Violet D. Christman, a Hood River, Ore. native, died
on Oct. 30, 2000, in Hood River, at the age of 64.
Mrs. Christman was born Sept. 9, 1936, in Hood River,
to Jesse James and Viola Laura (Asbury) Jones. She attended schools in Hood
River and married Richard Thompson in 1955. He preceeded her in death in
1960, and she then married Bob Christman on March 30, 1972.
She loved reading, cards, spending time with her kids,
and roses. Mrs. Christman is survived by her husband John; daughter Darlene
Rose Allen, Tigard. Ore., Karen Ann Vaught, Austin, Texas, and Deborah Faye
Sublett, Wooster, Ariz.; son Richard James Thompson, Corpus Christie, Texas;
and brother Jimmy James Jones, Seattle.
Services for Mrs. Christman were private. Interment was
at Chris Zada Cemetery in Underwood.
Arrangements were by Gardner Funeral Home in White Salmon.
