VESTA THORNTON

     Vesta Thornton, the seven month old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Chas. Thornton, who was brought over last Saturday from the Buck Creek Lumber company, near White Salmon, and taken to the Cottage hospital, died on Wednesday of tubercular meningitis. The body was prepared for burial by Undertaker S.E. Bartmess. The funeral servivces will be held this afternoon at 3 o'clock at Underwood.

     The infant daughter of Charley Thornton was taken to Hood River to the hospital Saturday but died Wedensday from spasms.
