VERLEY WOOSLEY
Verley R. "Wig" Woosley died in Hood River, Ore., on
Feb. 13, 2002, at the age of 92.
Mr Woosley was born Jan. 15, 1910, in Kimball, W.V. He
lived in Hood River before moving to Clark County 23 years ago.
He was a retail clerk in the grocery industry.
Mr Woosley is survived by sons. Roger L. Woosley, Hood
River, and Terry A. Woosley, Vancouver, seven grandchildren and 6
great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife Edna in 1994.
Services for Mr. Woosley were held Monday, Feb 18, 2002,
at Brush Prairie Baptist Church in Vancouver. Interment was at Mt. Adams
Cemetery in Glenwood.

Verley R. 'Wig" Woosley, a retail grocery clerk, died
Wednesday, Feb. 13, 2002, in Hood River, Ore. He was 92.
Mr. Woosley was born Jan. 15, 1910, in Kimball, W.Va.
He lived in Clark County 23 years. He recently returned to Hood
River.
His wife, Edna L., died in 1994.
Mr. Woosley loved sports, especially baseball, and liked
poetry and gardening. He was a member of Brush Prairie Baptist
Church.
Survivors include two sons, Roger L. of Hood River and
Terry A. of Vancouver; seven grandchildren; and six
great-grandchildren.
A service will begin at 3 p.m Monday at Brush Prairie
Baptist Church. Memorial Gardens Funeral Chapel is in charge of arrangements.

A funeral service will begin at 10 a.m. Monday at Brush
Prairie Baptist Church for Verley R. Woosley, 92, who died Wednesday, Feb.
13, 2002, in Vancouver.
A graveside service will follow at 3 p.m. at Mount Adams
Cemetery in Glenwood. A complete obituary in the Saturday Columbian listed
the wrong service time.
