VERA V. PELAGILLI
Vera V. Pelagalli, 79, of Woodburn, Ore., passed away
March 13, 1998 in Salem.
She was born Dec. 1, 1918 in The Dalles, Ore. to Phillip
and Vera Beeks. She attended schools in Mosier and Dufur and was married
to Earl Cotton in 1944 in Seattle. He died in 1949. Vera lived for several
years in Goldendale and managed motels throughout Oregon for many years,
living in Woodburn since 1971. Vera was a member of the Church of Christ
in Woodburn and enjoyed raising animals, camping and spending time outdoors.
She was also preceded in death by a son, Stanley Pelagalli,
in 1983.
Survivors include three sons, Ken Belden of Woodburn,
Ore., Ron Cotton of Lyle, Dennis Cotton of Vancouver; 12 grandchildren; three
brothers, Malcolm and Narvol "Calvin" Beeks of Goldendale, and James Beeks
of Woodburn, Ore.
Funeral services were held March 17, in the Chapel of
Erdman Funeral Home with Pastor Ken Akins officiating. Interment will be
in Pleasant Valley Cemetery.

Vera V. Pelagalli, 79, of Woodburn, Ore., died March

Cotton of Lyle, Wash., and Dennis Cotton of Vancouver, Wash.; brothers, Malcolm
and Narvol "Calvin" Beeks of Goldendale, and James Beeks of Woodburn; and
12 grandchildren.
Services were held March 17, in Erdman Funeral Home,
Goldendale.
Interment will be in Pleasant Valley Cemetery.
