WALTER F. STADELMAN
A memorial service will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 18,
1994, in Memorial Gardens Funeral Chapel in Vancouver, Wash., with private
inurnment.
Mr. Stadelman died Oct. 15 at age 75.
He was born May 31, 1919, in Orchards, Wash. He was a
turkey farmer and served as a captain in the U.S. Army during World War II.
Surviving are his wife, Mildred; son, Robert of Ferndale,
Wash.; daughter, Patricia Downs of Alta Loma, Calif.; brothers, Bill of
Lafayette, Ind., and Werner of Salem; sister, Betty Irving of Anchorage,
Alaska; four grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

WALTER F. STADELMAN
Walter F. Stadelman, 75, died Saturday, Oct. 15, 1904,
at a Vancouver care center. He was born May 31, 1919, in Orchards, and had
lived his entire life in Vancouver where he owned a turkey farm.
A World War II veteran, he was a captain in the 603rd
Tank Destroyer Battalion. He graduated from Washington State University,
and he was a Boy Scout Explorer leader for Troop No. 532 in Orchards.
His hobbies included skiing, hiking, canoeing, gardening and golfing.
Mr. Stadelman is survived by his wife, Mildred, at home;
a son, Robert of Ferndale, Wash.; a daughter, Patricia Downs of Alta Loma,
Calif.; two brothers, Bill of Lafayette, Ind., and Werner of Salem; a sister,
Betty Irving of Anchorage, Alaska; four grandchildren; and one
great-granddaughter.
A memorial service will begin at 11 a.m. Tuesday, at
Memorial Gardens Funeral Chapel. Inurnment will be private.
