KERNSVILLE RESIDENT, 70, TAKES OWN LIFE
William Henry Kellendonk, 70, of the Kernsville vicinity
on Rt. 1, Estacada, took his own life Monday with a shotgun, Coroner Ray
Rilance reported after an investigation. Mr. Kellendonk who had lived in
that district 40 years, had visited a Portland physician earlier in the day,
in company with his son, Jack Kellendonk.
After returning home the son had gone to the nearby home
of an aunt, Mrs. Hugh Jones. The elder Kellendonk was to have followed, but
failed to do so and was found dead in a nearby field by his son in a search
after his return.
