WALTER HENRY SCOFFIELD
Funeral services for Walter Henry Scoffield will be held
Saturday afternoon at 2 p.m. at the Gardner Funeral Home with Rev. C. L.
Hobson of Goldendale officiating. Burial will be in the Oddfellows cemetery
at White Salmon.
He was born November 5, 1869 in Benton Harbor, Michigan
and passed away at Lyle January 27, after having lived there for about 2
months. He had moved there from Klickitat where he had lived for four
years.
Mr. Scoffield had followed farming and the butcher
trade.
He is survived by his wife, Lottie of Lyle; two sons,
Oren of Lyle and Merion J. of Underwood; two sister, Lucy Boyer and Bertha;
a brother Ben in the east; 2 stepsons, Henry Hermann of Michigan and John
Hermann of Toledo, Ohio; also a grandson, Elmer Scoffield and 2 granddaughters,
Vera and Evelyn.
