WILMA MOSS


     Mrs. Wilma Moss, 71, Klickitat, died on Wednesday, April 19, 2006, in Goldendale.
     She was born on June 11, 1934, in La Cygne, Kan., to Lester and Ethel Sherman.
     She graduated from La Cygne High School and moved to Washington in 1952.
     Wilma and Jerry Moss were married on October 24, 1953, in Yakima and moved to Klickitat in 1955. She was employed in various capacities at the lumber mill in Klickitat until it closed. Later she and Jerry owned and operated a convenience store and sports card shop in The Dalles.
     Wilma is survived by her husband, Jerry, Klickitat; son Larry Moss, Wahkiacus; daughters Jerilynn Sanchey, Glenwood, and Marilyn Norton of Bedford, Iowa; Two brothers Bobby Joe Sherman and Bill Sherman, Kansas City, Kan.; and three sisters, Anita Conley and Carol Messick, Kansas City, Kan., and Barb Sheldon of Overland Park, Kan.
     She was preceded in death by a son William Robert (Billy Bob) Moss in 1977 and a grandson Jason Sanchey in 1995.
     Mrs. Moss loved being around her grandchildren and enjoyed collecting sports trading cards .
     Funeral services were held on Monday, April 24, 2004, at 11 a.m. in the Chapel of Erdman Funeral Home, with pastor Pat Beeman of the United Methodist Church officiating.
    
Interment was in Mt. Adams Cemetery in Glenwood.
