Rancher Commits Suicide - W.H. Woolridge, a homesteader residing in the timber about 14 miles northeast of Goldendale, committed suicide on the night of April 7, by blowing his brains out. Wollridge was a widower, about 55 years of age, and has three grown children. His son is away working and his two daughters were attending a literary entertainment. On arriving home at 11 o'clock they found the body of their father still warm. Coroner Sanders went out the next morning, impaneled a jury and held and inquest. They decided that Woolridge met his death by a gunshot wound inflicted by himself. Despondency caused by ill health is given as the reason of suicide.
